The Georgian Hoose, 83 Victoria Street, is a charming period home, with a sheltered walled garden, situated in the historic town centre of Kirkwall. Sleeps 4: 1 double bedroom, 2 single bedrooms. Drawing room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom.

Dating to the early 1800s, The Georgian Hoose retains its original features and is presented as a period dwelling. It is not just accommodation, it is an experience in itself. This is where you can relax and feel like you have stepped back in time. We love it very much, and we hope you will, too.

Since taking over this property in 2018, we have worked to bring it back to its Georgian origin, slating the roof, liming walls, opening up blocked chimneys and reinstating fireplaces, exposing original wooden floors, reinstating dado and picture rails. It is quite different to other holiday lets, and therein lies its charm. Here, you can really get away from the stress of the modern world while holidaying in the beautiful Orkney Islands.
