The Commodore Chalets complex consists of nine superbly appointed self catering units and six overnight lodges providing bed and breakfast accommodation.

Located on the south coast of the Orkney mainland, the Commodore Chalets command a lovely view over St Mary's bay and the Churchill Barriers towards the linked south isles.  The famous Italian Chapel is within walking distance. 

The chalets are on the main bus route between St Margaret's Hope and Kirkwall and are approximately 300m from the village of St Mary's where you will find a shop and post office - open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.  There is a small play park in the village which is suitable for smaller children, and the Holm football pitch is situated approximately 100m away.

We are only 4 miles from the Pentland Ferries terminal in St Margaret's Hope, 6 miles from the airport, and 20 miles from the Northlink ferry terminal in Stromness.
